I totally agree with you mate!! Apart from Big Bang Theory channel 9 isn’t watched here!! As for Big Brother… It was fun (the first season and possibly 2 and 3) but after that it just got boring…

Nice to see that some people could appreciate an ace and irreverent spectacle.
I love the fact that NBC presenters didn’t know who Tim Berners lee was…

The only bad bits were Paul McCartney, and every time Jacques Rogge was mentioned or seen. All the kids were using Samsung phones, the mum drove a MINI (BMW build them these days and were a sponsor) and they happened to pick a song at one point that mentioned coca-cola we were only a Big Mac away from a total brand out.

I think the whole thing was excellent, I don’t think the NHS bit was meant as a two finger salute to the U.S, it was just being proud of something that is part of every British persons life and is 5th biggest employer in the world. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17429786)

The closing ceremony was nowhere near as good, but I still think we put on a good musical show, although with quite a few noticeable absentees and dodgy song choices!
